Dr. William J. Cobell, MD

Dr. William J. Cobell was born in Browning, Montana and grew up hiking and riding horseback in Glacier National Park, where his father was a backcountry ranger. He graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman and then completed his medical studies through the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. He carried out his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Vermont in Burlington, and his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Although, he is trained in several specialized GI procedures, he has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of esophageal disorders.

He and his wife, Kaylene, both Montana natives have four children. He loves all things outdoors, including skiing, boating, camping, hunting, fishing and hiking. He is excited to bring his expertise and knowledge to the state of Wyoming. He is focused on putting patients first and providing excellent GI care. He also looks forward to experiencing all the exciting outdoor activities that this state has to offer.
